Warranty Terms – Sunpal PV Solar Package
This document sets forth the warranty terms for Sunpal solar panels, batteries, inverters, and
balance-of-system components supplied through GreenTech, as well as general warranty.

1. PV Modules – Sunpal TOPCon Bifacial Panels
The following Sunpal TOPCon and bifacial module product lines are covered under this warranty:

  • N-type TOPCon Bifacial Double Glass Solar Module: BiMAX 5N – SP600M-72H (575-600W)
  • N-type TOPCon Bifacial Double Glass Solar Module: BiMAX 6N – SP705M-66H (675-705W)

Warranty Terms after delivery:

  • 12 years limited product warranty (materials and workmanship).
  • 12 years linear performance warranty: modules will deliver at least 90% of rated power
    output.
  • 30 years linear performance warranty: modules will deliver at least 88% of rated power
    output.

Note: Warranty start date is the earlier of the installation date or 60 days after delivery.

2. Battery Systems

  • 10 years product warranty.
  • 15 years design life as per manufacturer’s specifications.

3. Inverter Systems

  • 5 years product warranty.
  • UL certified inverter units as per supplied models.

4. Balance of System (BOS) Components

  • PV Combiner Boxes: 5 years warranty.
  • PV Cables & Connectors: 10 years warranty.
  • Mounting Systems: 15 years warranty.

5. Replacement Conditions
Parts Replacement (Default Case):

  • If a defect can be resolved by replacing a component (e.g., junction box, connectors,
    inverter PCB), GreenTech will supply the replacement part free of charge within the warranty
    period.
  • Delivery normally within one week via air shipment, subject to logistics.
  • Labor, and incidental costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
    System Replacement (Serious Defect):
  • If the defect is serious and cannot be resolved by part replacement, a new unit will be
    supplied within the warranty period.
  • If the unit is in stock, it will be delivered immediately.
  • If not in stock, GreenTech will order from the manufacturer and deliver as soon as available.

6. Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Labor, shipping, travel, or incidental costs.
  • Improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow manufacturer
    instructions.
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, negligence, freezing, fire, flood, lightning, or other
    force majeure events.
  • Damage due to non-approved components, defective system design, or integration with
    third-party equipment.
  • Normal wear-and-tear, cosmetic blemishes, or consumables.

7. Defect Reporting Procedure

1. Initial Notification

  • The customer/distributer must notify in writing within 10 business days of discovering
    the defect.
  • Notification can be made by email to GreenTech’s warranty service department.

2. Required Information

The notification must include:

  • Product model number and serial number.
  • Proof of installation/delivery date.
  • Description of the defect, including any observed error codes, symptoms, or unusual
    operation.
  • Photos or videos showing the defect (if applicable).
  • Customer contact information and installation site address.

3. Preliminary Review

  • GreenTech will review the submitted information to determine whether the defect may be
    covered under warranty.
  • If additional details are needed, GreenTech may request further documentation, test data,
    or site inspection reports.

4. Return or On-Site Verification

  • GreenTech may require the defective part to be returned for inspection, or may arrange an
    on-site evaluation by an authorized technician.
  • Costs of shipping parts back for inspection are the responsibility of the customer,
    unless otherwise agreed.

5. Warranty Decision
Once verification is complete, GreenTech will confirm whether the defect qualifies for:

  • Parts replacement, or
  • System replacement (if the defect is deemed serious and cannot be resolved with
    part replacement).

6. Fulfillment

  • If approved, GreenTech will supply the replacement part or system in accordance with the
    warranty replacement conditions.
  • If not approved, GreenTech will provide a written explanation of the denial.

8. Liability and Force Majeure
GreenTech shall not be liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages such as loss of profits,
downtime, or loss of use. GreenTech’s total liability shall not exceed the original invoice value of the
product. This warranty does not apply in cases of force majeure events including but not limited to
war, riots, strikes, epidemics, fire, flood, or natural disasters.

9. Transferability
This warranty is transferable to new owners provided the system remains installed at the original
installation site.
This warranty policy is valid from the date of signature. Any future adjustments or amendments to
the warranty conditions will be communicated in writing by GreenTech.

Please note that the warranty terms and coverage outlined herein are solely the manufacturer’s
(factory) warranty. GreenTech does not provide its own warranty but supports customers by
facilitating and transferring the factory warranty terms.
